    In the dropdown menu, change to "Windows Logon"
    Click OK
    Reboot


  • Defrag keeps restarting

    Close all programs except for Systray and Explorer
    Run defrag again
    If that fails to cure the problem
  • Second method

  • Restart in Safe Mode
    Hold down Ctrl whilst your system reboots
    and choose Safe Mode from the Boot Options

    Windows 95 and 98 use a 16bit defragmenter, you can replace this with a 32bit defragmenter which you can download by clicking here
    Save it to C:\Windows
    You might want to rename your current "Defrag.exe" first
